How to Apply for a Credit Card in UAE on 4000 Salary?

Sorry, if your per month salary is less than 5000 dirhams, then you cannot get a credit card in UAE.

But I said Yes in the above sections because I have found some better alternatives to credit cards for you with 4000 AED Salary. And these are very similar to credit cards:

1. Get a Prepaid Card

Get a Prepaid Card Instead of Credit card in 4000 AED

Instead of credit card, you can also use prepaid card, the difference between these two is:

With a prepaid card, you will have to recharge money in advance, and then you can use that amount anywhere while shopping, etc.

With a credit card, you can spend up to the maximum allowed amount, but you will have to pay the bill later.

Therefore, I prefer prepaid cards over credit cards with my salary of 4,000 AED. And there will be no minimum salary requirements to avail it.

2. Get a Debit Card

The debit card will also be the best option for you; It is linked to your bank account. And whenever you make a payment, the amount is deducted directly from your bank account.

So, a Debit card can help you stick to your budget. And there will be no salary requirement to get a Debit card.

And I have also decided to take a debit card with my 4000 AED salary, so that I can make payments conveniently with one swipe or tap.

3. Wait for salary to increase

If you want to take only a credit card and don’t like these alternatives, then this is the only option now. You will have to wait till your salary increases.

When your salary increases from AED 4000 to 5000, you can apply for a credit card.

IMPORTANT: Before taking a credit card, read the section below once.

There are many types of credit cards in UAE, which have different benefits. Here are some credit card types I’ve seen before:

Travel Credit Cards: These cards are useful for travelers and provide benefits like airport lounge access, travel insurance, and travel-related bonus points.

Rewards Credit Cards: With the help of this card, you can get points, miles, and cashback on your purchases.

Cashback Credit Cards: Whenever you purchase something from this card, it will earn you some percentage of your purchase price.

Shariah-Compliant Credit Cards: These cards are for Muslims who follow Islamic principles. They do not charge interest on outstanding balances, but only charge an annual fee and a flat fee on each transaction. That’s why this is my favorite credit card in the UAE.
